I was watching one of the best movies ever, The Incredibles, when I realized that I could be like Stephen Silver, a character designer! For some reason I never thought of this in full detail. I mean, after talking to him a couple of times I recalled that he stated he never received an art degree of any kind. It was his talent that got him where he is today.
Although I like GD, I think my true calling would be in designing characters or doing storyboard art. I really love making concept sheets and forming the character’s personality and traits. It’s like being a demi-god! Mwahahaha! Well, until you get an editor that goes, “redo.” Heh – one can dream a little thought can’t they?
But seriously, I think that is what I want to get into.
Also, I’m working on the format of my comic. If it does well on the internet as a webomic I’ll get it published. I’m thinking about 20 to 25 pages would be a good deal. I have to get with some people I know who are experts at selling their published works ( i.e. Brett Thompson) and hopefully they would be kind enough to help me out. :>
I’m going to be a busy beaver this break tying to get everything done for the finalized version.It will be worth it though!
This journal may be a little incomprehensible. I've only had 8 hours of sleep this week.
